In partnership with the Department of Transport, the Cycle Savvy Driving initiative ensures the safety of cyclists is at the forefront of the driving curriculum. We’re looking for Approved Driving Instructors to join this pilot programme to help improve the cyclists’ safety while sharing the roads with drivers.

How It Works
This exciting pilot project offers free online and practical training for approved driving instructors, starting on 7 May 2021.
Upon registration, you will be randomly assigned to one of two groups:
- Control: Complete the baseline survey and then, simply wait! We’ll contact you over the next three months to complete another survey and you can access our online course from October 2021.
- Treatment: Complete the baseline survey and then choose to complete either the online learning or the on-cycle practical training course*. The training is free to attend and will take place over the next three months.
